Just finished three day teaching conference for European Leadership Conference, Year Around Mentoring, for music and worship leaders. As I’m walking around Budapest to see the Christmas markets, the Danube, and the Opera House 🎄🏛️🎶. On the way, what do I spot? A CAT CAFE 🐱☕️.
Dessert, sandwiches, coffee… all with cats. This beauty leaped into my lap for a kitty cuddle. Best. detour. ever! 😻✨ Budapest cat café, you’ve officially spoiled my day. 🥐🐾

Thanksgiving in the Highlands & the Forgotten “F”

Thanksgiving looked a little different this year—Kenneth and I were in the Scottish Highlands, where the wind nearly blew the mountains into the sea! Around a long table of Americans and Brits, we laughed, feasted, and politely avoided the one topic that once defined the holiday: Faith.
But this year, I decided to bring it back—with help from three unlikely allies: Washington, Lincoln, and Kennedy. What happened next reminded me why courage in conversation still matters.
